Strong and Free is not a slogan invented for a t-shirt. It is Alberta's own motto, Fortis et Liber, carried under the provincial shield since 1907. This hoodie puts it where people can read it, under a herd of horses running flat out through the letterforms.
The graphic is printed large across the chest in a washed heritage palette: deep red type, horses in dust, sand and charcoal, the shield set quietly between the wordmark and the motto. It reads like something pulled from a rodeo poster archive rather than something made last week.
The fleece underneath is medium-heavy at 8.0 oz, soft on the inside, structured enough to hold its shape through a winter of wearing. It works over a t-shirt in September and under a jacket in January. Cabin weekends, ranch mornings, rink parking lots, long drives with the heater on.
Made for people who do not need to explain where they are from.
